Rotel RA-611 stereo integrated amplifier, manufactured in 1976, in excellent physical condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
This like-new and well-functioning Rotel RA-611 amplifier is a true classic from the 1970s: a solid stereo integrated amplifier with the warm, characteristic sound of the Japanese Hi-Fi era. Thanks to its aluminum-shaped front and the original wooden enclosure, it also has an authentic vintage look — perfect for retro audio enthusiasts or as a focal point in a classic listening room.
With its combination of a neat build, versatile connection options (two phono inputs, multiple line/aux inputs, tape, tuner, etc.) and solid craftsmanship, this device is ideal for vinyl enthusiasts or for those who want to connect original vintage equipment to modern sources (via aux/tape). Thanks to the separated pre- and power-amplifier sections (pre-main-split), it is also flexibly usable in a more extensive audio system.
The RA-611 excels in accessibility: sliders for bass/treble and balance, input selection buttons and knobs, speaker A/B, tape monitoring, low/high filters, muting, loudness, and even a headphone jack. Anyone with an affinity for vinyl or classical Hi-Fi will appreciate the charm of this amplifier.
Technical specifications (typical for RA-611)
Configuration: Stereo integrated amplifier (pre + power in one chassis)
Continuous power (RMS) / channel: 30 W per channel at 8 Ω.
Audio power (IHF, 4 Ω) ~140 W (for peaks)
Frequency range ± 3 Hz (or 5 Hz, depending on the reference) up to approximately 50 kHz (sometimes specified up to 55–100 kHz for 'power' / IHF)
Total harmonic distortion (THD) 0.1% (at 8 Ω, 27 W)
Damping factor (damping factor) 35 (at 8 ohms)
Input sensitivity / impedance: Phono (MM): 2.5 mV / 47 kΩ; Line / Aux / Tuner: approximately 150–330 mV depending on input type.
Signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) ~65 dB (phono/MM), ~70–75 dB (line/aux)
Speaker impedance 4 Ω to 16 Ω
Connections / inputs (in typical configuration) 2× Phono (for turntable), Tuner, Aux1, Aux2, Tape 1 + Tape 2 (or line inputs), headphones, 2 set speaker outputs (A/B), tape monitoring, pre-out/main-in (split pre-/power section)
Control options / filters / tone control: bass & treble sliders, balance, buttons for low/high filter, tone defeat, muting (-20 dB), loudness, speaker select, tape monitor, mono/stereo switch.
Power supply / voltage: Switchable: AC 100/117/220/240 V – 50/60 Hz
Dimensions (W×H×D) / Weight (approximate) approx. 420 × 140 × 240 mm (sometimes 419 × 127 × 241 mm) / ~5.5 – 7 kg (different references give slightly different values)
