Very nice piece.

The ax was an essential part of Viking equipment.
Versatile: Besides their role as a weapon, the common axes they possessed could also be used for carving or as general tools.
Weapon: Battle axes were a common and formidable weapon, varying in size and design.
Symbolism: The ax became a symbol of the fear the Vikings instilled in their enemies.
