Set of four entomological butterfly specimens mounted under glass in white frames, including Papilio hector, Morpho cypris and Catopsilia philea with a fourth dark Papilio specimen whose label is no longer present, dating from 1960–1970, each frame measuring 18 cm square and 2 cm deep, mounted on light cardboard in wood, in good condition with minor patina.

Warm welcome
For sale is a decorative set of four entomological butterfly specimens, each individually framed in flat white display cases. The specimens include, among others, Papilio hector from India, a male Morpho cypris from Paraguay, and Catopsilia philea, collected in Peru in 1976. The fourth specimen features a dark Papilio butterfly with distinctive light markings, whose label is no longer available.

Details:
The specimens are carefully mounted and displayed under glass, each on light cardboard with rear origin labels. The coloration of the butterflies ranges from intense blue tones in Morpho cypris to warm yellow in Catopsilia philea, and to the characteristic brown and black shades of the two Papilio species. The uniform white frames give the set a harmonious, collector-worthy overall appearance.
