design, this original Fiskars Fiskamin 1711 dish reflects
the unmistakable visual language of Scandinavian
modernism. Introduced in the early 1960s and
designed under Olof Bäckström’s direction, the
Fiskamin series became a landmark in Nordic everyday
design: functional, architecturally clean, and boldly
coloured.

This dish, produced between 1961 and 1973, showcases
the vivid red-orange hue characteristic of the early
Fiskamin palette. Its form corresponds precisely to the
documented 1711 model, with the distinct rim geometry,
proportions, and melamine texture that identify
authentic Fiskars production of the era. No modern
reproductions of this specific mold are known, and
surviving examples in this condition have become
increasingly scarce.

Preserved in excellent condition, the piece retains its
original surface quality and depth of colour, offering
both historical relevance and strong decorative
presence. Highly collectible, it serves equally well as a
