Description from the seller

Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T Type M – 60th Anniversary 1991
RB26DETT Swap – Imported from Japan – Excellent Condition – French Classic Registration

- Actual year of manufacture: 1991
- Year listed on the French registration certificate: 1988 (due to French homologation reference)
- Chassis: HCR32 – GTS-T Type M
- Edition: 60th Anniversary – rare and sought-after series
- Engine: RB26DETT from an R32 GTR (swap performed in Japan)
- Mileage: 79,000 km original
- Registration: French “carte grise de collection,” in my name
- Technical inspection: valid and up to date

Registration Details:

The vehicle was actually manufactured in 1991, as confirmed by the original Japanese documents.
During French homologation, the authorities recorded the year 1988 on the registration document, as French technical references for the Skyline start from that date.
This is therefore a purely administrative difference, with no impact on the vehicle’s authenticity or value.

Bodywork and Paint:

Original body, never repainted, in very good overall condition. The factory paint retains its shine and uniformity, with only minor age-related micro-scratches and marks. All rubber seals, glass, and lights are clean and well preserved.
The chassis is sound, with no evidence of accident damage or structural repair. Only slight surface corrosion underneath, typical for Japanese cars of this generation, with no structural impact.

Mechanical Condition:

RB26DETT engine (25,000 km) in excellent condition: starts instantly, runs perfectly hot or cold, with a healthy sound. The manual gearbox works smooth with no grinding. Responsive and pleasant clutch. No leaks – engine dry and clean.
The brakes, suspension, and steering all are in very good condition – stable and well-balanced handling. Recent maintenance included replacement of fluids, filters, and spark plugs.

For performance enthusiasts, a mild ECU tune or light preparation could further unlock the RB26DETT’s full potential

Interior:

The interior is complete, clean, and original with original upholstery well preserved, with no tears or sagging. The dashboard is intact and uncracked which is rare on this model.
The door panels, carpets, and headliner are clean and in good condition.
All electrical features functional: windows, lighting, fan, radio, gauges. The vehicle is kept in authentic JDM style, without excessive modifications.

Documentation:

- French “carte grise de collection” in my name (noted as 1991).
- Valid technical inspection.
- Original Japanese documents confirming the 1988 reference.
- Recent maintenance invoices and proof of engine swap.
- Complete import file available (French FFVE certification).
- Personal data hidden on the supplied copies.

Remarks:

This Skyline R32 is one of the rare 60th Anniversary editions, produced in limited numbers.
The RB26DETT swap from a GTR brings exceptional performance and reliability while preserving the character and purity of the original GTS-T chassis.

A true JDM icon, in solid, reliable, and ready-to-drive condition — ideal for collectors or enthusiasts seeking an authentic, high-performance, and appreciating classic.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
