Introducing a captivating series of figures, figurines, or whimsical objects, whatever nomenclature suits your fancy. While their exploration dates back to the 1990s, this enigmatic collection has remained shrouded in secrecy until 2007. The objective? A meticulous examination and juxtaposition of the alluring realm of porcelain figures, especially delving into the refined production traditions of European manufacturers since the 18th century, in comparison with contemporary design methodologies.
This variant in red is no longer available and is no longer produced.
Hand-decorated!
Initiated in 2007, the Alessi "Presepe" has evolved into a focal point, capturing the hearts of collectors and Christmas enthusiasts alike over the years.
Alessi's "Presepe", or nativity scene, made its debut in 2007 and has since blossomed into a timeless classic. The "Presepe" unfolds as a vibrant congregation of diverse individuals, a kaleidoscopic blend of varied races. The entire ensemble radiates an air of joy and optimism reminiscent of characters from a 1970s advertising campaign. Crafted from pristine white porcelain, each figurine undergoes meticulous hand decoration, adorned with vivid and lustrous ceramic hues, occasionally enhanced by the delicate touch of a decal.
This ''Presepe'' crib is in a new and unused condition. Delivered in original packaging.
