AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The manufacturer Unger & Hoffmann A.G. from Dresden released sixty-five photographic lantern slide series between 1900 and 1928 under the name 'Projektion für Alle'. The subjects are very diverse, ranging from foreign lands to Biblical stories, from art objects to astronomy. Since some subjects consist of multiple parts, a total of 95 serial numbers were issued. Each box (serial number) always contains 24 slides measuring 8.3 x 8.3 cm, in black and white, without glass covers and paper borders. The boxes are made of cardboard, covered with marbled paper; dimensions are 24 x 9 x 9 cm. The slides are kept apart in the box by means of corrugated paper along the sides, to protect them from scratches. A few series were also issued in a hand-colored version. All slides are numbered; in some series, text lines are printed on the slides. This box contains series number 18, 'The Conquest of the Air', with illustrations of balloons, airships, and flying machines. The box is somewhat damaged here and there. Unfortunately, it only contains 18 slides.
