A rare colour aventurine quartz, beautiful ritual Bi disc talisman - power of the univers from the ancient Sino-Siberian,Qijia culture.
Second millennium BC.
Qijia culture The Qijia culture (2200 BC – 1600 BC) was one of the early Bronze Age cultures distributed around the upper Yellow River region of Gansu and eastern Qinghai. It has always been regarded as one of the first bronze cultures in China.
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand , but the nice patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, boring and grinding . Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased in 1994/Budapest by Dr. Zelnik from the collection of a former ambassador in Mongolia, H.E.B.I.
