Netherlands - NVPH 1261 - proof print on semi-transparent paper

NVPH 1261: 45c figure skater in a block of four stamps. Variant; test print on matte semi-transparent paper, made at the request of the designer. Unused without gum, as issued.

With NKD certificate (for the original block of 12 stamps): "Proof print in a block of 12 on matte semi-transparent paper. Declaration from TNT Post and Joh. Enschede that, at the request of the designer, a proof print was made on this paper. Unused, without defects."

For comparison, a block of four 'normal' stamps is included.
