Alphonse CYTHÈRE, born in TAUVES (PUY-DE-DOME) on August 12, 1861, and died in RAMBERVILLERS (VOSGES) in 1941, was a French ceramic engineer associated with the École de NANCY. He developed a new technique for transforming a metallic-reflective enamel, which earned fame for the 'Flamed Sandstones of RAMBERVILLERS.'


The lamp has been rewired with more than 1.5 meters of traditional twisted cable according to current standards, with an antique matching switch and plug made of Bakelite. The lamp is in perfect condition, ready to be installed in your home, and the bulb is included.
