Retina IIIc (type 021-I) with Xenon-C 2/50 lens, 35 mm film, serial no. 626480, produced circa 1954–1957, physical condition very good and functional condition not tested.
Description from the seller
Kodak Retina IIIc (type 021 - I) with Synchro-Compur shutter featuring speeds from B, 1 second to 1/500 second, and MXV sync contact.
Produced by Eastman Kodak Co. Rochester NY between 1954 and 1957.
This camera has serial number: 626480.
Lens is a Schneider Kreuznach Xenon C f2/50mm with serial number: 4674166.
This camera comes from my personal collection and has always been handled with the necessary care.
The offered camera is in very good cosmetic condition but not working condition.
I am unable to move the clutch lever for film transport to relax the shutter.
It must be something very trivial because the camera has always worked well.
I leave it to the new owner to decide whether they want to have this camera repaired or possibly repair it themselves.
All the camera's glass is pristine, free of scratches and/or polishing marks. There's also no fungus or dust inside the lens.
The rangefinder still works well and remains very high contrast, and the two subfields align very accurately with each other.
The light meter works very well and responds to different light sources.
Focusing the lens works particularly smoothly without hiccups.
Please look at the photos carefully, they are also part of the description.
The camera will be carefully and properly packed and shipped with a Track & Trace number and insurance.
NOTE:
I always ship my goods with a Track & Trace number and insurance to prevent possible damage and/or theft.
Please note that shipping costs may be slightly higher.
Anyone who does not agree with this please do not place any bids.
Thank you in advance.
