Description from the seller
I_KONIQ (1969) - (stage name of Lijuk Crem) is a versatile artist who embarked on his journey into the world of printing and graphics in 1988. His career began in offset printing and eventually led him to become the CEO of a major printing house in northern Italy, tripling the company's revenue within a few years. Here, he gained solid knowledge of printing techniques and visual dynamics.
Over the years, Lijuk has expanded his scope, exploring new artistic possibilities and ranging from pop art to visual reinterpretations of famous characters. His style is distinguished by a unique fusion of pop culture, references to iconic tradition, and a bold use of colors. Just as Andy Warhol did with CAMPBELL cans, or Mario Schifano with COCA-COLA, Lijuk reinterprets familiar images, elevating the ordinary to extraordinary through the use of modern graphic techniques and visual irony.
Each of his works is a tribute to the iconography of popular culture, but at the same time, I_KONIQ manages to imprint his own personal vision, questioning and reinventing the very idea of celebrity and visual icon.
Today, Lijuk's work is a testament to how graphic art can evolve, maintaining its communicative strength while renewing itself with a fresh and innovative perspective.
Each artwork is hand-signed on the front and numbered on the white side of the border to avoid damaging the overall beauty of the piece while ensuring it retains its proper value.
Printing is done using the GIcléè technique in 12 passes on Digital Fine Art on premium glossy cotton canvas fabric of 380 g/m2.
To preserve the colors over time, each piece is handcrafted and painted with a special treatment for lighting, to enhance the colors and protect against deterioration over time.
Every artwork is shipped in a rigid cardboard tube to safeguard and protect your new purchase. In addition to the size of the artwork, it includes a side border for framing on the wooden frame, with a lateral thickness of 4 centimeters and an additional outer border of over 4 cm that remains white for attachment to the back of the frame (not provided).
All the works of our artists are the result of creative hands and diverse cultures, even though all come together, blending into a unique harmony.
