Zhiyun CRANE 3S 3-axis cinema camera gimbal
The Zhiyun Crane 3S gimbal features powerful motors that enable a payload capacity of 6.5 kilograms. The versatile Crane 3S can handle any shooting situation, from intense chase scenes to studio work. Additionally, this gimbal offers a wide range of creative applications and intuitive operation. It is ideal for use with more ambitious camera and gimbal setups, such as with a Canon EOS 1DX, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema, Canon Cinema EOS, Sony FS and FX series, and Red Digital Cinema Cameras.

Powerful motors for unlimited content creation
The Zhiyun CRANE 3S features a modular motor shaft and handles. For larger cinema camera setups, users can attach the optional extension module to the roll axis. For smaller DSLR/mirrorless camera configurations, this module is not necessary to keep the overall setup compact and highly portable.

Modular design for maximum flexibility
The first Zhiyun CRANE LAB series created a new way to hold a gimbal in 'undersling mode' using the second handle. For the Zhiyun Crane 3S, this setup features a removable second handle with two options: the 'EasySling' handle and the 'SmartSling' handle.

EasySling and SmartSling
You can mount the ‘EasySling’ handle for more comfort when filming upright and in under sling mode. The EasySling has no control panel. The ‘SmartSling’ handle does have an intuitive control panel and OLED screen, providing direct access to camera and gimbal parameter settings during filming. The Zhiyun Crane 3S, given its design, also offers the possibility to attach and use both handles simultaneously for maximum flexibility. Both handles are easy and quick to attach and remove. The unique modular design makes the Zhiyun Crane 3S suitable for use in combination with motorized dollies, jibs, cable cameras, and Easyrig.

Powerbank for supporting intensive filming.
With the three 18650 rechargeable batteries, the user can operate the Zhiyun Crane 3S for up to 12 hours. A DC-in power port on the gimbal's battery compartment allows input of up to 25.2 volts for direct charging. To support long, more intensive filming sessions with larger, more complex camera and gimbal setups, the separately available TransMount PowerPlus Battery Pack is available. This is a compact and quickly rechargeable power bank for the gimbal and camera. The Battery Pack contains no less than six IMR 18650 rechargeable batteries (equivalent to 15,600mAh) and provides a runtime of 18 hours.

Reliable and responsive system.
The locking system of the Crane 3S can lock each of the three axes without the camera noticeably swinging. The modular design comes with double locks to ensure that the setup is 100% secure. The zoom and focus system can also support larger lenses.

The Zhiyun CRANE 3S is powered by an algorithm that enables phenomenal speed and smoothness of filming. During fast action shots, the Crane 3S handles high wind speeds better. The 55° tilted roll axis is designed for an unobstructed view and provides ample space for mounting large cinema camera combinations.

Image Transmission Module
The Zhiyun TransMount Image Transmission Module is compatible with the new Crane 3S and can be mounted under the gimbal's locking plate. With this optionally available transmitter, video can be streamed to up to three (professional) monitors or recording devices, including smartphones. The image is transmitted with 1080P 30 fps synchronized transmission up to a maximum distance of 100 meters. This makes professional monitoring and livestreaming easier.

The ViaTouch 2.0 system in the free ZY Play app allows communication between the gimbal, camera, and monitor, so that camera and gimbal parameters can be adjusted remotely. The ViaTouch 2.0 system also enables visualized remote movement control of the gimbal.
