Description from the seller
Porcelain table service – Richard Ginori, 1930s Floral garland decoration with fine gold trim – Impeccably preserved
Refined tableware crafted by the renowned Richard Ginori manufactory in the 1930s, a period when the Tuscan maison was distinguished by discreet elegance and the formal perfection of its porcelain. An ensemble that captivates at first glance thanks to the delicacy of its decoration, the classicity of its shape, and the surprisingly fresh condition, rare in objects approaching a century of age.
The service is embellished with a continuous garland of small stylized flowers, where notes of blue, pink, and green alternate in a harmonious and light color composition. The motif, painted with great clarity, runs along the edge of the plates like a botanical thread that guides the eye, while a fine thread of 24-karat gold highlights its profiles with sober elegance.
The form follows the classic canons of Ginori production from the 1930s: soft lines, balanced proportions, full and measured volumes. The soup tureen, in particular, stands out for its noble and slender silhouette, complemented by elegant side handles and a top knob shaped like a fruit, a detail typical of the craftsmanship's plastic skill.
Composition of the service

Historical notes on manufacturing
Richard Ginori, founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Ginori, is one of the oldest and most prestigious European manufactories. Over the centuries, it has combined artisanal tradition, aesthetic research, and stylistic innovation, becoming a symbol of Italian excellence in porcelain. The 1930s represent a golden age, during which the dialogue between classicism and modern taste led to the creation of services now considered icons of collecting.
Storage conditions
Despite being nearly a hundred years old, the service is in exceptional condition: the surfaces are perfectly shiny, free of craquelure, chips, or obvious signs of use. The overall impression is that of a piece that has been almost never used, carefully preserved and brought to us in an excellent state.
