Description from the seller
On offer, I have a very beautiful and perfectly functioning Zeiss-Ikon Contaflex Super B (10.1272) with a Synchro-Compur shutter and MXV sync. Including 4 lenses (four) (35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 115mm).
Produced by Zeiss-Ikon in Stuttgart between 1963 and 1968.
This camera has serial number: E3546.
De Contaflex Super B was the first 35mm camera with automatic exposure, interchangeable lenses, and interchangeable film magazines.
It is a camera with automatic diaphragm, shutter speed priority, and manual focus.
The viewfinder is very clear, free of dust, and remains sharp when focusing. It is a matte ring that blurs and inside, two circles with two half-fields align sharply when the correct distance is reached. It’s somewhat like a Leica rangefinder camera.
There is no return-clapping mirror, so after the shot, the viewfinder image remains black. It is only after the shutter is cocked that a clear image is obtained again.
This is the reason why this camera was designed the way it is, because with its blade and central shutter, it can operate very quietly.
This camera comes from my personal collection and has always been handled with the necessary care.
The offered camera is in lightly used, very beautiful, and perfectly working condition.
All shutter speeds from 1 second up to 1/500 second and B mode perform very well by ear.
The Selenium light meter still works perfectly, and in automatic mode A, the camera independently selects an aperture based on the chosen exposure time.
Total of 4 (four) lenses are included.
The glass of the Tessar f2.8/50mm is crystal clear, free of scratches and cleaning marks. There is also no mold or dust inside the lens.
The glass of the Pro-Tessar f4/35mm is very clear without scratches or cleaning marks, also no mold or dust but has some coating spots along the outside of the front lens that do not affect the lens's performance.
The glass of the Pro-Tessar f4/85mm is crystal clear without scratches, cleaning marks, mold, or dust. On the outside of this lens, there is also a kind of coating loss (very light) along the outer edge. It does not affect the performance of the lens.
The glass of the Pro-Tessar f4/115mm is crystal clear without scratches, smudges, mold, or dust inside the lens.
Please look at the photos carefully, they are also part of the description.
The camera will be carefully and securely packed and shipped with a Track & Trace number.
The entire package weighs more than 3kg (excluding packaging material), so shipping costs may be higher.
NOTE:
I always ship my goods with a Track & Trace number and insurance to prevent possible damage and/or theft.
Please note that shipping costs may be slightly higher.
Anyone who does not agree with this please do not place any bids.
Thank you in advance.
