A collection of 92 German coins (non‑euro pre‑2000) illustrating the history of the Deutsche Mark, minted in various mints identified by letters on the coins, shipped by trackable registered mail.
Description from the seller
Germany
Bellissima talks about German coins from the year 900 until the beginning of the Euro.
These 92 coins tell the story of the Mark in Germany. Today, it is a complex journey marked by wars, hyperinflation, division, and reunification of the country. The coins were minted in various mints, identifiable by the letter impressed on them. German coins were minted in different mints, each identified by a letter (mint mark) engraved on the coin.
The main ticks active during the Marco period and still today for the Euro are:
A - Berlin
Munich
F - Stuttgart
G - Karlsruhe
J - Hamburg
Other mints that were active in previous or specific periods include B (Hannover), C (Frankfurt).
In Dresden, the previous five have minted the vast majority of Deutsche Mark (DM) coins.
I shared the history of this coin to better describe the rarity of many coins represented here.
The lot is shipped via traceable postal registered mail.
