Description from the seller

English chest of drawers from the early 20th century, made entirely of solid mahogany, without compromises: the frame, sides, drawers, shelf, and interiors are all crafted from the same fine wood.

Mahogany, chosen for its vein, compactness, and chromatic depth, typical of British cabinet-making of the period.
The slightly shaped upper shelf softens the lines and complements the finely undulated lower band, creating a successful balance between rigor and movement. The original gilded bronze handles discreetly embellish the front.
It should be noted that the first and third drawers lack two vents; while the handles in golden bronze are intact, two of them are not perfectly fixed. The furniture is in good overall condition, with minor signs of wear and some small scratches consistent with its age.
The drawer linings are all original, and the furniture has never undergone restorations.

Thanks to its sober yet decisive character, it integrates surprisingly naturally into modern environments, bringing warmth, substance, and personality without seeming out of place. A truly beautiful, solid, and authentic piece.

Seller's Story

I have always been passionate about our past, knowing it is the only thing that does not cease the connection between what is and what was. When I reached the right age I understood that my passion had to coincide with my work and so I opened a business. The key principles are quality and love towards the customer. Francesco Secondo
