Building a Building (Walt Disney, 1933)
Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing
"Hey, you!" Minnie has been taken once again by Bad Pete and it's up to Mickey to rescue her in Building a Building. The classic David Hand-directed short, released to theaters 1/7/1933, centered around Mickey and Minnie's lunch date at the construction site, though things take a turn quickly after Pete steals Mickey's lunch and his sweetheart! The spectacular DRAWING of 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings of Minnie in her iconic flower hat were created for scene 57 starting at about 4:32 in the short as the mouse shouts from the hook holding her up and Pete tries to get rid of the nearby ladder so Mickey can't get to them.
The lot exhibits light edge and handling wear, faint age-related toning. Good condition!
