Etruscan Votive Statuette of a Draped Female Figure

Description:
Terracotta votive statuette depicting a standing female figure draped in a long veil (himation) covering the head and body. The figure holds the garment with one hand across the chest, in a gesture of modesty typical of Classical Etruscan votive figures. Hollow body with open underside. Modeled in fine reddish-brown clay with darker firing patches and traces of surface encrustations from burial. The style and proportion correspond to votive types from Veii and Tarquinia, representing worshippers or deities associated with fertility and protection.

Dimensions: Height 140 mm; Width 38 mm.

Condition:
Good overall condition; slight abrasion to the facial details and minor surface wear consistent with age. No visible modern restoration. Stable natural patina.
