Rare Venetian gold mantovana – 19th century – Italy

Elegant and decorative wooden valance carved and gilded with gold leaf, made in the Venetian area at the end of the 19th century.
The front part is adorned with finely carved floral garlands.
The gilding is original gold leaf and features an exquisite vintage patina.
Very rare
A tempting object for true art collectors.

Length: 143cm
Maximum height: about 32
Depth: approx. 20 cm

Conditions
In good overall condition, with signs of age consistent with its age. Minimal wear on the gilding, attesting to its authenticity and decorative value.
