Description: Detailed and antique hand-colored German map of Central Italy with Tuscany, Umbria (Etruria), and Lazio (Papal States).
In the top right corner, a beautiful title cartouche and the name of the cartographer. In the bottom center of the map, three scale bars. In the bottom left corner, a part of Corsica and above it, a compass rose. Degree markings along the map edges.
The cartographer is Christoph Weigel. Back side not printed.
Published in 'Atlas scholasticus et itinerarius' by Christoph Weigel, from Adam Friedrich Zürner, published by Johann Ernst Adelbulner in Nuremberg in 1718.

Dimensions: card 32.5 x 38 cm - sheet 36.5 x 45 cm

Condition: Very good. Strong impression. Beautiful antique hand coloring. A small spot near the middle bottom of the page. Binding traces along the left margin. Some very light signs of use in the margins. See photos.
