Philips - FCD195/32 Stereo set

Philips FCD195/32 compact system with record player, CD player, radio and double cassette deck.

Condition:
The system is in working order. The CD player, radio, and both cassette decks have been tested. The turntable works, the tonearm moves freely, and the stylus is in good condition. The recording functions of the cassette decks have not been tested.

Functions tested:
• CD player reads and plays reliably (see photos).
• Cassette deck A: Playback, rewind and stop/eject function normally.
• Cassette deck B: Playback and rewinding work; a short beep occurs when stopping. The play button is occasionally a little harder to press.
• FM/AM radio works very well; the antenna socket is missing, instead two antenna wires protrude. Reception was excellent with temporarily connected cables (approx. 1.5 m).
• Turntable: Motor is running, turntable is rotating smoothly, tonearm mechanism is working.
• Input selection (Tape / CD / Tuner / Phono) works correctly.

Visual condition
The unit shows signs of age-related wear and tear, such as small scratches on the casing.
The small front guide handle on the tonearm (finger lift) is broken off – this does not affect the function.
Rear panel complete; speaker terminals and controls intact. The turntable dust cover is clear with slight signs of wear. No missing buttons or switches.

Philips model FCD195/32, produced around 1990–1991 (according to model generation and production labels).
