"Toshiya Kimura is a Japanese photographer born in Tokyo. While studying at the Department of Photography at Nihon University College of Art, he joined the advertising production company Kaburagi Studio (now Amana), where he gained experience in various genres including product photography, models, food, interiors, and jewelry. After leaving the company to focus on portrait photography, he worked as an assistant to Masao Ono, and later trained under photographer Tadayasu Ozawa through an introduction by publisher Iwata. He has published over 150 photobooks and visual works, primarily focusing on female idols such as Haruka Ayase. His notable works include ""Aya Ueto,"" ""Haruka Ayase,"" ""AKB48,"" and the ""Kimura Camera"" trilogy published by Takeshobo.
