Description from the seller

This beautiful Art Deco cheese dome was produced by the crystal and glass factory Val-Saint-Lambert, Belgium. The designers of this cheese dome are Charles Graffart and Joseph Simon. This is a single dome, without a base.

The cheese dome is part of the 'Luxval' collection, model 'Eclat', and is listed in the 1935 catalog. The last photos show the dome in the 1935 catalog.

This cheese dome is also located in the Design Museum Gent. Of course, a cheese dome can also be used as a butter dish.

The cheese dome is in excellent condition. It has only a few very minor flea bites and a small chip. See photos.

The cheese dome looks beautiful on a nicely set table or party table. For example, it looks stunning on a decorated Christmas table or a table set for New Year's Eve. It is also a beautiful design glass object and a collectible item.

The cheese dome is carefully packaged and shipped by registered mail.
