AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Circa 1890. Cristallerie Legras & Cie in St Denis.

Stunning antique 'Lantern Vase,' also called 'Storm Lamp,' made of blown molded glass with a square-shaped body decorated with recessed panels divided by bars resting on four small feet. It comes with a charming ring-shaped cap and a side handle, allowing it to be carried like a real lantern. This model is one among many produced in various factories until the end of the 19th century.

Beautiful total height of 30 cm with a lovely volume.

Magnificent specimen perfectly documented and illustrated in the renowned catalog raisonné 'Legras Maître Verrier'. See the latest photos.

In good condition for their age.
Just a small, fairly common defect in the cooking at the end of its original cap (which is quite rare) that isn't visible when inside the lantern, along with some normal signs of wear due to age. (Object over 135 years old!)
Magnificent collectible item from the Art Nouveau era by LEGRAS productions from the late 19th century that will undoubtedly beautify your interior and evoke admiration from your guests!

Beautiful mark of the pontil of the blowpipe, cut with pliers, a sign of a long-standing, high-quality artisanal craftsmanship.

Parisian private family collection.

Very professional, carefully secured, and guaranteed custom shipping with tracking and insurance. See my reviews :)
