Superior quality hand crafted late 19th century solid 800 silver large size collectable heart shaped box.
The hinged cover finely embossed with foliate scrolls framing a shaped cartouche with countryside peasant scene by Storck & Sinsheimer.
They exhibited at the 1876 Philadelphia International Exhibition
Fully hallmarked on bottom with Germany Hanau silversmith Storck & Sinsheimer marks
Length 7,5 cm
Width 6,5 cm
Height 2,5 cm
Net silver weight 63 grams
Condition report:
In fine circa 135 years old original condition, perfectly closing - great patina, minor scratches and dings - no repairs, no cracks, as you can see in pictures that are part of the description
