A superb and heavy solid silver cigarette case with gilt interior, crafted in audacious chevron shape, measuring circa 14cm in length and weighing 130g, guilloche decorated in lozenge pattern to the cover and finished with blue enamel lines. Stamped to the interior with 900 silver assay mark and silversmith´s mark of Budtz Muller & Co., Copenhagen, active from 1908 to 1948. Owner´s monogram HC or CH engraved to the lid.
