Description from the seller
Vintage majolica flowerpot with matching saucer – pink, turquoise & brown – Victorian style
A characteristic vintage majolica flowerpot with a matching saucer, executed in rich, glossy colors and featuring detailed relief decorations.
The upper edge of the pot is decorated with a glazed floral motif in pink and turquoise shades, typical of majolica with its vibrant colors and expressive appearance.
The lower part of the pot and the saucer have a brown glazed finish, with a relief pattern reminiscent of woven basketry and leaves.
Majolica pottery like this piece was particularly popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, aligning well with the Victorian aesthetic: rich, decorative, and with bold design.
Condition
Larger bump at the bottom of the pot (see photos)
Generally in good vintage condition.
Some small chips on the edges.
Dish without significant damage, lime deposits.
Dimensions: I use a 1-liter bottle for reference.
