Signed autograph letter from Alexandrine Zola, addressed to Gabriel Thyébaut, dated January 16, 1890, written in black ink on a double sheet of vellum paper, with its original stamped and sealed envelope.
My dear Thyébaut, you would be very kind if you could kindly come to dinner on Thursday the 23rd, to help us eat one of the hams from the famous psychologist. The Baron will be with us. I am also writing to Hüysmans, who I hope will have the kindness to join us.
