Swiss brand watch, nickel-plated, black dial, JAEGER LeCOULTRE, ATMOS, model 528-8, from 1978. The watch looks and works very well. In the late 1930s, Atmos watches were always made in the same factory in the Jura Mountains of Switzerland by extremely skilled watchmakers. The Atmos watch is powered by perpetual motion - it does not need to be wound manually. It gets its energy from changes in temperature and atmospheric pressure in the environment and can operate for decades without human intervention. For two days of operation, a temperature variation of just one degree between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius or a pressure variation of 3 mmHg is sufficient. The operating spring is continuously charged, being almost always at its maximum load limit. It will be properly packaged, in 2 boxes (box in box) for transport.
