Empire style mahogany sideboard from France, circa 1800–1820, with gilt brass hardware, dimensions H 98 cm × W 119 cm × D 48 cm, in good condition with minor signs of age and staining.
Description from the seller
Mahogany Empire period dresser, lid with gilded copper fittings.
Square solid pillars on both sides, (exceptionally) entirely on block bases. Behind the rather thick doors and sturdy middle plank with the original 'schootvanger'. Beautiful patina, attractive depth in color, and polish gloss with a wax finish.
Silk not torn, lock and key working.
It is ready to use directly.

H= 98 cm.
B= 119 - 122 cm. (smallest - biggest)
D= 48 - 53 cm. (deepest-deep)
Recently thoroughly inspected for loose parts of construction and veneer. No active woodworm detected on 28/10/2025.
