Märklin BR44 (3027.5), scale H0, analog control, AC power, in very good condition, without original packaging.
Description from the seller
Märklin BR44 (3027.5) 1962/64.
Due to redundancy, a beautiful Märklin BR44 is now offered.
It is in good condition but unfortunately without original packaging.
It has been tested for its operation; the motor, lighting, and telex are functioning perfectly.
The model 3027 concerns a locomotive from the construction series 44 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) from era III. The locomotive is analog and features a Märklin Large Flat Collector Motor (LFCM) with field coil and a mechanical relay for switching the direction of travel. Furthermore, the locomotive is equipped with a telex coupling on the tender side for analog operation. The model measures 28 cm in length and is fitted with a hook coupling at the front. It has a three-point front signal with a 16-volt lamp with a screw fitting. On the tender side, there is a two-point stop signal that is non-functional but has been painted in silver color. The model is analog, so the lighting is off when the locomotive is not powered (stationary). When power is supplied via the transformer, the front lighting will become brighter as the speed controller is turned up.
The locomotive construction is entirely of metal, as is the chassis of the locomotive. The tender is made of plastic.
This model is used, and of course it bears traces of that, but as is customary with Märklin, it hardly affects its operation.
Look at the photos for a good impression; they are part of the description.
See also our other lots for matching elements.
The items are carefully packed and shipped with track & trace. (KG)
