The Tesseron Composition Fine Champagne Cognac, a very different option from a house that until now had only presented XO-quality cognacs and above, truly demonstrates Tesseron’s talent for bringing to market a slightly younger expression. Rest assured, there are plenty of older eaux-de-vie in this VSOP blend to guarantee the highest quality, not to mention maturity on the palate.
There is no doubt that this is an excellent cognac for sipping, one that will undoubtedly withstand the most rigorous tasting tests. The Fine Champagne designation means it is a blend of Grande and Petite Champagne cognacs, with at least 50% of the eaux-de-vie coming from the Premier Cru.
The Tesseron family has been producing wines and spirits since the 19th century, when founder Abel Tesseron acquired an ancient estate in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente.
