Edward Eves - Rolls-Royce, 75 Years of Automotive Perfection - Introduction by Lord Montagu of Beaulieu - English translation by Paul Giordanou - Paris, Éditions E.A., 1980 - First edition - 208 pages - Hardcover: black cloth, gold title on the front cover and spine, with its original illustrated dust jacket in polychrome, illustrated endpapers, texts and photos printed on high-quality white paper, the technical part (second part) printed on thick yellow paper - 22.30x29.50cm - Very good copy: dust jacket slightly damaged on the edges, book in very good condition and clean.
Edward Eves (1917-1999) was undoubtedly one of the greatest post-war automobile racing photographers. He also manufactured cameras under the name 'Edward Eves Limited' in Leamington Spa. A respected automotive journalist and photographer, he was one of the first to experiment with color photography, which was rarely used in the 1950s and 1960s, as newspapers and magazines were still printed in black and white.
