A 1910–1920 mahogany Art Deco torchère table from the United Kingdom, crafted in solid wood with a 54 cm circular top and a 66 cm high, currently in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
This is an antique mahogany table, also known as a torchère. Based on its shape and workmanship, it probably dates from the late Victorian or subsequent Edwardian period, the late 19th or early 20th century.
Key features:
Material: Solid mahogany, which has developed a rich patina over time.
Style: Georgian style.
Design: The circular top is slightly rimmed (plate-shaped), the column-like base is decorated with beautifully turned and partially carved leaf motifs on the lower part. The lower, also circular base has three.
Such pieces were often used to display statues, plants or other decorative objects.
On top of the table is a seriously crafted brass tray that features art deco motifs, including elephants.
The fertilizer is in extremely good condition, has a well-preserved, well-respected appearance.
Due to its large size and heavy weight, I can only post it in two parts.
The table top is in a separate package, with its own screws, and you just need to attach it back to the top.
We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
