Master Boccini (born January 14, 1939) has always loved reproducing—on ceramics—the classics of the 1500s, 1600s, and 1800s, favoring figurative subjects by Perugino and Botticelli (his inspiration came from a vast collection of prints).

The elegance of the stroke, the warm beauty of the colors, and the variety of subjects have over time created true collector's pieces.

His painting characteristic is that of the old Deruta school: working with only three colors, blue, ramina green, and orange. Starting from these, various shades are created, giving the initial impression that more colors are present in the painting.
