This is the TOMIX “Railway Museum Collection” model of the KOKI 50000 container flatcar.
The real KOKI 50000 series was introduced by the Japanese National Railways (JNR) in 1971 as a dedicated high-speed container freight car.
It could carry up to five 12-foot containers on its 15-meter-long frame, playing a vital role in Japan’s modernization of freight transport.
With its blue-gray body and white “JNR” logo, it became an iconic symbol of the Showa-era logistics network.

This special edition model was released as part of the Railway Museum collection and accurately reproduces the museum exhibit version of the car.
The finely detailed underframe, realistic container fittings, and sharp logo printing make it a high-quality collectible for railway enthusiasts.
