An outstanding roman bronze statuette of a seated musician playing the double phrygian tibia, dressed with boots and a short chiton clearing the right shoulder. The musician holds with his hands and blows in a double Phrygian tibia. Bronze with beautiful dark patina. (Iconography very rare, probably unique in bronze). | Rome. 2nd Century AC. A very rare example.

Condition Report: Excellent condition.

Provenance: Pierre Bergé Auction House - Paris, France. Ex R.G. Private Collection - Luxemburg

Important: Due to summer holiday season, our gallery will be closed in august so this item will be delivered in september.

- The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece is in process of obtaining
Spanish Export License ( Passport for European Union). This process can take between 2 and 4 weeks.
- If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will
be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months.
