Description from the seller

Colima terracotta figural whistle depicting a man dressed in a turkey costume, having an open fantail and wearing a banded headdress. Whistle incorporated in the tail. Old inventory number on the back of the tail. |Colima, Mexico. 100 BC-250 AD

Dimensions: 9,00 cm.

Condition: Minor chip on tip of the nose, otherwise intact.

Exhibited at the Marjorie Barrick Museum, UNLV, 2000s.

Provenance: Private Nevada collection, ex. D.H Private Collection - Arkansas, US. 1950s-60s.


Notes:
