A highly-detailed by-chrome, portrait, stirrup vessel of tremendous realism, showing a Moche warrior or cazique with open almond eyes, aquiline nose with lower deformation and small deformed open mouth showing his teeth, showing an aggresive look.. With elaborate ceremonial hairdress decorated on the sides with two bird heads turned backwards . Very fine example. | Moche. Peru. 100-500 A.D.
Dimensions: 25,00 cm.
Condition: Small chip on the spout, otherwise excellent condition.
Provenance: Private collection, Geneva (acquired in the late 70s-early 80s)
Private collection, Vaduz (acquired in 2006)

- The piece includes authenticity certificate.
