The story behind

This design is inspired by a scene straight from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Written by William Shakespeare at the end of the 16th century, this marvelous comedy parodies the chaos caused by romantic feelings. Young lovers, a theater troupe, fairies, and elves from a magical forest cross paths and mingle, creating endless surprises. Under the moonlight, Titania, queen of the fairies, whose eyelids have been soaked in a love potion, falls madly in love with Bottom, an actor with a donkey's head. In this scene, Édouard Baribeaud pays tribute to baroque theater, Indian miniature paintings, and the early days of cinema.
