Gem sculpture featuring two parrots crafted from rose quartz with aventurine, quartz crystal and onyx; origin Peru.
Description from the seller
This extraordinary gemstone sculpture features two intricately crafted parrots perched on a massive, natural rose quartz step. The ensemble combines several high-quality minerals in a delicate handcrafted work, a level of harmony rarely seen in such execution.
The left bird is made of gentle pink quartz, whose translucent structure beautifully contrasts with the delicate yellow beak. The wings and the lower body are crafted from green aventurine, which, through its natural grain, creates lively feather-like patterns.
The right parrot combines clear rock crystal in the head and chest area with an intensely blue beak made of sodalite or lapis lazuli. Here as well, the green aventurine wings create a harmonious color transition. The long tail made of light onyx adds extra elegance to the figure.
Both birds are equipped with small, faceted eyes and sit on delicately crafted, gold-colored metal claws that are securely anchored to the sturdy rose quartz base. The step itself displays the typical silky shimmer of rose quartz and enhances the color harmony of the entire artwork.
A sculpture of this quality is not only decorative but also especially valuable to collectors of gemstone figures – a rare piece that combines craftsmanship, mineral diversity, and natural beauty in an impressive way.
