13 Vogelplaten by M.A. Koekkoek from the late 20th century, Netherlands, in excellent condition, each plate measuring 33 × 24 cm, with 12 plates and a description.

A beautiful collection of bird posters featuring all Western European birds. The posters were published in 1981 by the Bird Protection Society in Zeist. They are based on paintings by the renowned artist
M.A. Koekkoek. There are 12 plates as well as a description of the painter and the origin of the plates. All plates are signed on the plate with M.A.K.
The size of the plates is 33 x 24 and they are also suitable for framing. All are in very good condition.
Carefully packed and shipped or pickup in Groningen.

Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek (Amsterdam, January 29, 1873 – ibid., May 30, 1944) or M.A. Koekkoek II was a Dutch draftsman and painter, mainly of animals and birds. He came from the Koekkoek family of painters. His great-grandfather was Johannes Hermanus Koekkoek (1778-1851), his grandfather was Hermanus Koekkoek (1815-1882), his father was Willem Koekkoek (1839-1895), and his brother was Hermanus Willem Koekkoek (1867-1929).
