Heraldic stamp with imperial eagle and crossed keys – Austro-German area – Late 19th / early 20th century
Materials: turned wooden handle, engraved metal mold.
Rare antique heraldic stamp, finely engraved, most likely belonging to a civil or military office of the Austro-Hungarian Empire or the German area from the late 19th to early 20th century. The coat of arms features:
A large crowned eagle with spread wings, an imperial symbol.
Crossed keys in the central position, emblem of administrative authority.
Wall-mounted upper crown, typical of civic and territorial entities.
The carved matrix is of excellent quality and perfectly legible. The original turned wooden handle maintains an even dark patina, characteristic of authentic vintage objects.
Sought-after piece for collectors of heraldry, Central European militaria, sigillographic tools, and historical institutional objects.
