Art Nouveau brass engraved lamp with green slag glass lampshade – attributed to Bradley & Hubbard – early 20th century
Detailed description
Elegant Art Nouveau-style table lamp, made in the early years of the 20th century and attributed to the prestigious American manufacturer Bradley & Hubbard (B&H), as indicated by the mark on the regulator knob of the old burner.
The lamp body is finely crafted in brass/bronze, engraved with rich floral and geometric motifs typical of B&H production. The lampshade consists of six shaped panels in green slag glass, featuring beautiful opalescent veins and a copper mount with decorative floral appliqués.
The base, in decorated cast iron, maintains the original Liberty design.
A beautiful example of an American art lamp, with quality materials and a strong visual impact.
