Description from the seller

A collection of four Roman bronze fibulae, dating from the 2nd to 3rd century AD, consisting of curved bow fibulae with broad or rounded footplates. This type was used in the Roman Empire as cloak or clothing fasteners, both military and civilian, and is among the most recognizable and functional fibula forms from the middle and late Roman periods.

The pieces display a natural green archaeological patina, with clearly recognizable arch shapes, a footplate, and a clasping section. With archaeological metals, it is common that old or later restorations on the needle construction cannot be ruled out, but the design and typology remain clearly visible.

Material: bronze
Dating: 2nd–3rd century AD.
Quantity: 4 pieces
State: archaeological find state – see photos for condition.

Is carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
