Description from the seller

Detailed description
• Author: Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892)
Style: Neo-Grec, late 19th century.
• Material: Patinated bronze with relief chiseled decoration, red marble base.
• Motif: Female mask or radiant mythological figure
• Dimensions: Height 13 cm, weight approximately 400 g.
• Technique: Sand casting, fine chasing, original patina.
Particularity: Small decorative size, probably part of a series of ornamental objects for offices or bourgeois salons.

Value estimation

For this type of item, the market generally falls between:
Lower end of the range: €320 – €350 (if there are signs of wear or altered patina)
Median price range: €400 – €600 (good condition, original patina preserved)
Upper end of the range: up to €800 if the piece is perfectly preserved, signed, and well presented in the sales room.

Your vase, with some small visible marks, seems realistic in the range of €450–600 at auction, potentially more in a specialized gallery because the Barbedienne signature is clear.
