Coptic linen textile fragment, Egypt, 5th to 7th century.
Rectangular section of a Coptic tunic woven in a figurative and ornamental manner, depicting two figures within a frame, surmounted by four medallions.
The fragment is under glass, in a carved and gilded wooden frame.
Fragment dimensions: 30.5 cm x 12.3 cm - Frame dimensions: 45.5 cm x 29 cm.

Delivered with a copy of an export license issued by the German cultural authorities.
