Pratt, Hugo - 1 Silkscreen - Corto Maltese - Tango soggetto 8 - 1986

The 12 silk screens of 'Tango' were commissioned to Hugo Pratt and produced on behalf of the Editori del Grifo, between late 1985 and early 1986, on the occasion of his personal exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Pratt supervised the work at a silkscreen painter in Rome, and all signatures were affixed by Pratt himself in pencil in the presence of the publisher.
The edition consists of 250 copies in Arabic numerals and 50 in Roman numerals; about twenty copies printed as reserves are artist proofs (A.P.).
The specimen for sale is indeed part of the P.A. edition.
