Description from the seller
New state
Removable vase
The Simon candle holder, designed by Bořek Šípek for Driade, is a refined example of poetic and visionary design, the characteristic trait of the great Czech architect and designer. With its slender and dynamic structure, made of flowing lines that intertwine and open like metallic branches, Simon presents itself as a small luminous sculpture that can transform any space.
The candelabrum is made of shiny metal and features multiple candle holders arranged in a radiating form, creating a visual balance between movement and symmetry. The attention to detail, formal complexity, and elegance of the material perfectly align with the expressive approach characteristic of Šípek, known for his organic, sensual, and almost baroque creations, which always hover between art and design.
This object, part of the Driade Kosmo collection, is not just a decorative accessory: it is a scenographic element, a collectible that combines craftsmanship, imagination, and a strong aesthetic value. Simon is perfect as a table centerpiece, on a console, or as a sculptural element in the living room, and even illuminates the space when not lit, thanks to his reflective surfaces and strong sculptural character.
